Triple X Tattoo studios

Ok so to get the blog going, here are my favourite shots from a session at Triple X.

The session came about as part of a documentary project by London Film School student Alvaro Gago Diaz

The tattoo was designed by me and the ribs were donated by my wife Delphina. The man with the plan (and the tattoo gun ) is Sean. A very nice guy who runs the studio in Hackney.

Excellent blog! Tattoos are deeply personal, and your article respects that journey. I enjoyed the emphasis on creativity and trust between artist and client. Looking forward to reading more of your work.

Myself....

I am a Photographer based in North-East London.

I have spent the last 11 years of my life working as a cycle courier in central London.

Why?

Because I love it.

Why?

Because it gives you the freedom to do all the other things you love in life at the same time.

A large one of those loves is Photography and spending all day travelling around London I constantly find my self in the right place at the right time.

I also find my self watching, listening and learning as the world passes before me.

The tourists who see my home town with fresh eyes and the drivers who do not, angry and grey faced behind their wheels. The couples arguing or kissing, oblivious to all around them and the criminals who are quite the opposite. The pigeon who spends twenty minuets trying claim that bread from the middle of the road. And when he finally gets it, the business man who kicks him out of the way.

I could ramble on and on and still not explain quite what It is that I am trying to say.

For that I like to use my photography.

To show you how I see and what I learn.

But also to have fun doing it.................Never forget to have fun doing what ever you do.
